![]() So further looking into the matter I noticed that using an older DirectX 8.0 - 9.0c version of dsound.dll in the game folder solves the sound issues. ![]() ![]() Then I found out that the sound problem started after Windows Vista. Looking at this game I got it working nicely with the default dxwnd configuration except for the sounds that were horribly distorted.
